31 July 2009 - He is crawling!!!

And so, on this day, Liam Marais officially started to crawl - proper crawl using the knees and not just propelling himself along using hands and dragging the legs along like a beached long distance swimmer.

Put your stuff away - close those cuboards - there is a crawling baby on the loose!!!!

A new phase in his young life begins. We can't wait for more...

The Creation of a Smile

Watch carefully now, and follow these 3 simple steps:

Step 1 - slightly lift the corners of the mouth - at this stage do NOT give away the fact that you really want to laugh you backside off, just control it, control it - it is all about control.



Step 2 - Squint those eyes now, show a bit of gum, maybe do a very light giggle to show you are starting to like it.



Step 3 - What the heck - just let rip - throw the head back, eyes can be closed fully at this time, show off those gums, deep belly laughs are also ok now!

Saturday 18 July 2009 - Liam has teeth!!

The little guy has his own way of explaining all those nappies - 1 bottom tooth in the morning, and another one peeking through later the say afternoon.

Almost time for that first steak young man!
