So in his teen years Master Liam developed a serious rugby crush after him and Dylan and Dad have started becoming regular Loftus visitors. The man is a big Bulls fan! But he wasn't ok with merely watching - he wanted to be out there on the field. Running and kicking and tackling and enjoying every second.
So he joined a program run by the University of Pretoria (Tukkies) for youngsters who are late starters of The Game.
The last 2 Saturdays were the start of a training camp where they are taught the basics of rugby.
In typical Liam style he very quickly made new friends. One of them the nephew of a Xhosa king nogal! Safe to say then, the 3 Musketeers were having a royal time...!
Who knows where his rugby journey takes him but whatever it is meant to be, we wish him all the best - train hard, then train some more. Be open to learn as much as you possibly can, and always remember to have maximum fun out there.
