Liam Sleeps Through The Night - YEEHAA!!

And so, on Tuesday 7 September 2010, another milestone was achieved by our New Dude - he finally slept right through the night, only waking up just before 6 the next morning.

The Parents were in 7th heaven, hopefully this is the start of a much better sleeping pattern, and will greatly assist in the removal of that "thousand yard stare" come lunchtime the next day.

Liam, we wish you lots more nights like this one, with peaceful dreams, and only the best quality sand used by The Sandman!

None of that "made in Hong Kong" cheap stuff sand from now on young man!!

It's amazing how quickly this little dude's vocabulary is picking up! And he has no trouble at all to let you understand what he wants!

Vuvuzela = lila

Whats your name? He always answers Maa or Moo but never Liam. If in the mood he will carry on to tell you his name is MaaMoo!

Dylan = Boetie (really emphasised.)

Oliver = Olllie (the how he lines up the "L" in the middle!

Pig = Oa (the noise - as in a pig says O-Aa!)

Security guard at school = lekker O Jan (pronounced something like "letteoejan")

Every man on a motorbike is Attie going hummmm. A while ago he also pointed out motorbikes and made the klip klop klip klop noise with his tongue like a horsey!

So, on Wednesday 12 May 2010 Liam first surprised Attie by saying his name, and later that evening gave Spikey a brilliant surprise by suddenly standing in the passage and calling him to come help him fetch a book from the room - "Pitee, boot, boot!" and pointing furiously at the room!

Friday 30 April 2010 - about 18:00

We went walking with the dog, Oliver, and the boys - Mommy, Daddy and Spikey.

When we got back Mommy and Spikey were standing talking at the kitchen counter while Liam was standing in the front door trying to decide if he wants to come in or not.

Spikey was telling Mommy something and his last sentence was along the lines of "it was very lekker".

The next moment Mr Liam let rip with a totally unexpected LLLLLLLLLLEKKER from the door!

We had such a good giggle, and of course he was extremely chuffed with himself!
