Well it's official. The little bugger is taller than me! It only took him 15 years and 9 months to overtake my 1.87m. He immediately celebrated by calling me Shortshit.

6th rugby game - 1st ever win

A week ago Master Liam played his final game for the under 18 Barbarians team at Tukkies. That was against the Naka Bulls based in Wonderboom South. They lost but there were so many positives when compared to their first games that the boys were all smiles.
He was then moved to the under 16 team as they were in desperate need of a number 4 in the line-outs. It was a bit odd in that he only met the coach and team today on game day. As it turned out that didn't matter as they won the game.
Played at the Naka Bulls main field against the Grizzlies, based in the Tuine area of Pretoria. Final score 14 - 7 in our favour.
May this be the 1st win of many.
